About Kung Fu Noodle

2024 Yelp Top 100 Places to Eat in the US 2025 Best New Restaurants by Columbus Monthly

Located at 5225 Godown Rd, Columbus, OH 43235, Kung Fu Noodle operates as a chinese noodle serving Columbus in Ohio. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Columbus; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Ohio are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (614) 564-9825. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is kfncolumbus.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 433 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese noodle in Columbus and suggests consistent service.

Columbus is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Columbus is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Ohio's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This was exactly what I wanted! I tried the Osmanthus Honey Milk Tea, and it was delicious. The flavour was a little fruity, a little earthy, and not too sweet. The braised Beef Noodles were really good and exactly what I was craving. Overall, this is the best Chinese food I've had to date.

This was my second visit here. First time was underwhelming, but decided to give them a second chance. I love a good soup with hand-stretched noodles, and was really excited about this place. Sadly, despite the noodles being exceptional, they do not deliver in many other areas. My biggest issue here is cleanliness. Sticky tables. Dirty utensils and plates. And the restrooms... Yeah, no thank you. The soup dumplings are really good, but a smaller portion for the price. The braised beef soup has a really light broth, way too light. Makes the whole dish disappoint even though the noodles are the real deal. The beef is really bad. Same with others meats, like the chicken on the Lo Mein, which had an off taste. Overall, won't be coming back.

Braised Beef Noodle Soup is the best thing I’ve ever had. So flavorful and rich, meat so tender melts in your mouth. The noodles are out of this world. Dreaming of when I get to eat this again! Added plus is the Milk Tea and Mochi Donuts. πŸ˜‹

Food was incredible, service was great, and amazing atmosphere. The hand pulled noodles are amazing. Everything came out quickly, and was outstanding. We also ordered Teamoji drinks while at our table and they were delicious as well.

If you are looking for authentic Chinese noodles in Columbus, Kung Fu Noodle is worth trying. The flavors remind me of restaurants back in China. Everything tastes fresh, the chili oil is amazing, and the atmosphere feels very casual and welcoming.
